Started a set to participate in “Frankivsk Workshop” and “Kramatorskaya Workshop” – “sister” programs of informal civic education for the next generation of proactive communities in Kramatorsk and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Do you feel like having ideas for improving your life in Kramatorsk or Frankivsk? Feel yourself ready to implement them, but need extra knowledge, skills and community of like-minded people for this? You feel the dynamics of the city, observe the numerous events, join in to them, but are ready / to create something your own? Are you looking for your own area, in which you want to develop, and feel the need for a living knowledge and development of competences that are really important in today’s (and tomorrow’s) world? Do you plan and plan to acquire practical skills and useful links through the implementation of your own projects and initiatives in favor of the urban community? You’re right for us!

• So, if you are ready to master your ideas, the city for half a year,
• If you want to meet like-minded people and an inspiring community,
• If you are motivated by the idea of getting to know the same crazy and open activists from Kramatorsk or Frankivsk,

… then we are at the same way as you! After all, the Kramatorsk Workshop and the Frankivsk Workshop are special educational programs / study tours / ways of their own development, which are realized with the soul and the interactive methodology of NGO “Other Education”. These two educational incubation programs are designed for all those who see themselves in the future as conscious citizens, active parents, activists and activists of their cities, social innovators, but who are currently only taking the first steps on this path and needing knowledge, contacts and support.

A special feature of these programs is that they are “sister” or mirrored. This means that participants and participants in both cities will work simultaneously, with similar training programs, on similar local issues and with similar teams of coaches and coordinators. Throughout the program, participants and participants will be in constant online exchange, and will meet offline and present their results in two cities at the final meeting of the program in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Why Ivano-Frankivsk and Kramatorsk?

Because these cities are so different and similar at the same time.

They are different in their history, the current stage of development, and the challenges that face the city. Ivano-Frankivsk brings unique projects for Ukraine (and not only), generating social innovations here, while the city maintains its Stanislav coziness and atmosphere – due to the geometry of the city and the style of relations in the city community. Kramatorsk has a great potential to become the center of a new progressive Donetsk region, but there is still a (post) conflict trauma that naturally gives rise to distrust and separates the local community. Kramatorsk is a relatively young city whose collective history is based on the (post) Soviet industrial myth and which lacks length and heredity.

They are like, because in these cities breathe freely. Both Ivano-Frankivsk and Kramatorsk feel the same wind of change and the same “window of opportunity.” Both cities need new ideas and a new generation of proactive citizens who will help realize this potential and become the “heirs” of the development of these cities. In addition, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kramatorsk are similar in size and number of people, and in general, these two cities seem to us ideal candidates for another couple of twin cities.

What will Kramatorsk Workshop and Frankivsk Workshops contain?

Within the framework of both the training participants and participants will be able to work on a range of such important competencies and skills as
