These were the main topics of the meeting of Ukrainian partners of the Carpathian Cooking Heritage Network on July 11, 2018 in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The main principle of state certification today is safety. Starting in 2014, the introduction of a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) product safety system has begun in Ukraine, which is already a requirement of legislation in the European Union, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and other countries. The system should operate on all food businesses in Ukraine, except for those with low capacity from September 20, 2018, . Whether to choose HACCP for restaurants or traditional productions or to choose other – less expensive ways of “securing” their own products for the manufacturer? A detailed and detailed presentation of topical issues of state standards in this area was presented by Tetyana Stasiv, head of the testing center of the State Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk Standard Metrology”, on certain decisions or steps in this direction. The professionalism of the employees of this enterprise in general allows the Network to plan further joint expanded consultations for its members of various specializations, including for hoteliers, owners of green farmsteads, owners of public catering establishments and small-scale production facilities.

The marketing block of the meeting was no less applicable. What is important is to remember “socializing” social networks: it is interesting to people to read what is useful for them. How not to spend your time and budget on Internet advertising is bad: shoot in an apple, creating interesting posts (and no more than one post a day!). What are the opportunities for chat bots, for example, in finding restaurant clients: only one annoyed by pop-up windows is flagged out of thousands of subscribed clients. These and dozens of other valuable responses from a young businessman, the owner of the SocialEagles marketing agency, were received by the mini-training participants during the meeting. Our plans include the organization of specialized workshops for the development of internet marketing strategies for partners.

The most pleasant moment was the celebration of new partners from the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine with brand names. This time the owners of the “steaming boiler” were the farmstead “Darvaev corner” from the Old Mizunya Dolynsky district (the owner of Kleban Oksana), the sheep farm “Owl corner” from Novy Mizun to Dolyna (owner Oksana Luchkiv), as well as Stanislavskaya Cheese Factory from Ivano-Frankivsk ( owner Natalia Palchak). Congratulations to our colleagues and we want new joint achievements in the large international family of guards of Carpathian authentic products and cooking traditions.
