On September 26, the TAIF International Creative Women’s Startup Studio Accelerator Studio together with IBERIF “Ukrainian-Canadian Business Center” had the honor of welcoming Extraordinary and Authorized Canadian Ambassador in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk.
It was an inspiring meeting for the participants of the 2019 Acceleration Program, at which the achievements of the Accelerator were presented and the next steps and future directions of the Acceleration Program were discussed. The implementation of the Acceleration program has become an innovative approach to the development of the city’s creative economy, a powerful alternative to women’s labor migration abroad, and the opportunity to turn a hobby into their own business and gain financial independence.
The Government of Canada is a major partner of the pilot Acceleration Program (B2B Creative Women Network: Creating Women in the Creative Industries in Ivano-Frankivsk), funded through the Government of Canada’s Small and Medium Enterprises Assistance Fund for International Technical Assistance Partnership for Urban Development (PROMIS Project).
